Manuscript formatting is a very important part of getting your 'baby' from the computer and into the readers hands and can become very frustrating for the writer. This is why most author's send their MS to be typeset by someone who has the know how and the correct software to make it happen. Making sure your work meets mainstream publishing standards is a must. I use a book design program which allows me to convert your manuscript into a sellable, readable, perfectly built book. Once your word document has been edited and is ready for the world to read, it's time to bring it to life.
Simply send me your completed manuscript (word doc) as a whole, not chapter by chapter, making sure it is ready for the final stage, and we will work together from there.
However, we won’t know the exact amount of finished pages until it’s complete, so I’ll need to estimate the final cost of the typeset book.

Even if you are not finished with your manuscript you will still want to start thinking about your marketing strategy. There is so much that needs to be done...editing, typesetting, book cover design, business cards, building your website and other advertising materials. You probably have hundreds of ideas floating around in your head, but picking just the right one can be a difficult decision. With such limited space, it is often hard to figure out what will get the most feedback. This is where I come in. It is my job to put together the perfect design based on your book and perhaps your cover. Or maybe you don't really have a vision, just tell me a bit about the story and I will put a few things together and we can brain storm...finding the ‘ultimate’ marketing idea.
Now that we have the cover finished it is time to start marketing your 'pride and joy'. Book marks and business cards are a great way to get your name plastered all over. Everywhere you go you will want to leave some of your book marks. While eating out, leave them on the table, out at the store, leave some on the counter, even put them on the cars in the parking lot. Go to your neighborhood gym and tell them you are a local author and ask to put some at the front desk. Be sure to talk to the manager of the book stores in your area to set up book signings. You will find that most people enjoy helping others from their community.
You can put whatever you would like on the opposite side of book mark. One idea is a blurb about the book with the book cover. Maybe a bit about yourself and your networks and website information.
